So midsummer has been passed and the activity at our bear hide out is constant with several bears visiting the place. A bear safari in Swedish wilderness offers both excitement and opportunity for fine pictures or as this sequence of a bear in the camera as it slopes through the grass. We started this business 2002 in Edsbyn, 16 years ago and since then there are many nature photographers who has visited the hide out.
As the first Swedish organizer of organized bear safaris and the rental of bear hide outs, we look back on a whole series of exciting meetings with both humans and bears. I myself stopped counting my bear meetings when they touched 200 pieces and I’ve been sitting in this hideaway for over 600 days in total, which has been both exciting and patience-intensive.
Right now, we have 100% chance to see bears, but it varies both after the time of the year, but especially after the ability to sit quietly inside the hide and let time pass almost unnoticed, then the possibly to get an opportunity to experience this beautiful animal can be achieved. Whether you choose a guided bear safari with dinner in our logg cabin or just rent our bear hide out, I will give you an overview of the bear situation locally and in its entirety.
Of course stories from the past when some bear meetings were extra exciting and anecdotes from film recordings including Swedish Television SVT and other media that have visited the hide on several occasions. If you ever have seen Swedish bears on television, several famous clips comes right from our place outside Edsbyn, Hälsingland.
